Named one of American Patchwork & Quilting's "10 Best Shops" in their Fall 2004 Quilt Sampler issue, Once Upon A Quilt is located in sunny Ft. Lauderdale Florida. We are easy to find, in fact, we are less than 4 miles from the Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale International Airport. Whether you are coming via I-95, I-595 or Florida's Turnpike, you are within minutes of our door… just 1.5 miles east of SR 441 and 1.5 miles west of I-95 on the south side of Griffin Road.

We opened in December of 1998 with just 500 bolts and our growth has been colossal since then. We now have 2500 bolts of the finest 100% cotton fabric for quilters and we are a Bernina Authorized Dealer. In addition to the extensive array of notions, books and patterns we stock a complete assortment of silk and wire-edged ribbon and embellishments for crazy quilting. You'll find a section of our shop dedicated to wool for appliqué projects, many beautiful quilt kits and a wonderful and varied selection of quilt related gifts. But wait… there's more!
