At Once Upon a Quilt we service, all makes and models of sewing machines. Our technician is professionally trained and authorized to service all machines. We are a BERNINA Authorized Dealer and contract with George who is a BERNINA Authorized Technician. George worked at BERNINA of America in the BERNINA Technical Department for several years, before relocating to Florida where he started his own Machine Service and Repair business. George has over 25 years of experience in Machine Service and Repair. As we are a BERNINA Authorized shop we send George to all BERNINA technical training to enhance his education on all new BERNINA models. You should only have your BERNINA serviced at a BERNINA Authorized service center, this is a BERNINA dealership.
Service/Repair Schedule
George is in our shop every Wednesday and other days as needed. In order for your machine to be serviced on a particular Wednesday, please refer to Machine Drop off below.
Machine Drop Off
You can drop your machine off anytime during our business hours and one of our staff members will assist you, If you would like service the coming week your machine needs to be in the shop no later than Tuesday of that week. Reminder we are closed Sundays and Mondays.
What do you need when dropping off your machine?
So that we may better service your machine we need to know exactly what problem you are having, a sewing sample is the best explanation of your problem. We will also need your foot control, power cord, bobbin case, bobbin, and any accessory or presser foot that may be the cause of the issue at hand. Please leave the remainder of your accessories at home. If your problem involves embroidery then we will also need your embroidery module. If you are in for a routine cleaning please bring the items mentioned above along with your buttonhole foot and #1 foot. Warranty Parts and Labor If your machine is under warranty we will verify your warranty status. All warranty parts will be covered. After one year from the time of purchase, Labor is the responsibility of the consumer.
