About the 2017 event:

Inclusive means you only have to bring yourself each day, everything you need is provided for you.

Each registrant will enjoy the following: A new class each day with a different educator giving each attendee the opportunity to experience multiple techniques with three National Educators, Lisa Calle, Angie Steveson, and Carol Ann Waugh. All three educators will share their unique style of creating. During the retreat you will experience, Machine Quilting, Machine Stitching with Decorative Threads and Machine Embroidery. Bernina sewing machines (one per student) will be provided for you to use in each class. On Sunday evening immediately following class you can sit back, relax and be inspired while listening to a fantastic Lecture. You will enjoy demonstrations throughout the event, have the opportunity to shop at Once Upon A Quilt and in our exclusive event store where you will receive discounts on selected items. We will provide delicious catered lunch each day and snacks. In addition to all of the above we will have lots of fabulous prizes during this 3-Day event.

Class Projects: ANTICIPATION! !! Our class projects are always a closely guarded secret until the day of the event. We want you to be surprised and excited the first day. Our projects are created using the above mentioned techniques with the direct input from our three Educators.

When: Saturday December 2nd, 9:00am- 4:00pm , Sunday December 3rd, 9:00am- 4:00pm and Monday December 4th, 9:00- 4:00pm. Lecture will be held on Sunday evening immediately following class.

If traveling via I-95 from south or north you will exit via Griffin road and go west to Anglers Avenue where you will turn left. Travel to the first light which is Gulfstream Way and turn left, follow the road around in a big loop and you will see the Courtyard Marriott on the left.

If traveling via the Florida Turnpike from south or north, you will exit Griffin road and go east to Anglers avenue where you will turn right. Travel to the first light which is Gulfstream Way and turn left, follow the road around in a big loop and you will see the Courtyard Marriott on the left.

If traveling from the Sawgrass Expressway from north or south you will exit 595? east to I?95 south and exit west on Griffin road to Anglers avenue where you will turn left. If traveling via I-95 from south or north you will exit via Griffin road and go west to 3404 Griffin Road. You will turn left into Oakridge Plaza. We are located on the west side of the plaza.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Once Upon A Quilt makes every effort to bring you the ultimate event week-end. We supply our event attendees with the use of Bernina sewing machines, class supplies and kits, catered lunch and snacks, door prizes and surprises. Because of this preparation months in advance, there will be a $100.00 cancellation fee applied to all refund requests. OUAQ cannot accept cancellations after October 31st and no refunds will be issued after this date. No Exceptions. Registrations are transferrable to another person with the approval of OUAQ. Please contact OUAQ for details. Registration is required to attend this event and OUAQ will not be able to accommodate any attendee not listed on the OUAQ Registration list the day of the event.
