"Quite honestly, my relationship with Once Upon a Quilt (OUAQ) started off on a challenging foot: the Bernina I owned was purchased at a (closed down) store near my daughter's house in North Florida. Although 50 miles away from me, OUAQ is the closest Bernina Dealer to me. Throughout the problematic situation with my former machine, Lisa (the owner) Javi (my "go-to" guy) and George (the head technician) did all they could to support me. Lisa went above and beyond with the Corporate Bernina offices to make sure I was supported and regarded. I totally believe in the Bernina product, and I am certain my NEW MACHINE (now purchased through OUAQ) will serve me quite well in my remaining days. Everyone at the OUAQ store is very friendly and very knowledgeable and VERY supportive of the Bernina corporation... This includes Sally, Fran, and Barbara, among others I have already mentioned. This store is very clean and "safe" feeling... and spacious. The fabric selection is amazing. I only wish I lived a lot closer to this store (although I think my husband is grateful we do not! LOL). I am a "fabric snob" and refuse to purchase inferior fabric. I appreciate the quality of the fabrics OUAQ displays. I also appreciate that they are "dog friendly" as often when I make the trip north I do so with my husband and the small dog in tote. (And Javi always tells me to say "HI" to my husband and the dog when I travel without them!). Thank you so much! “ I may not know the key to happiness, but I’ve never been sad in a quilt shop”. That is how I feel every time I walk into Once Upon A Quilt. The shop has a great variety of fabric and notions, all for a great price! They have so many options to choose from, and if they don’t have something they will gladly find out how to get it for you. The staff is kind, and knowledgeable about so many things. I purchased a Bernina sewing machine from the shop and the mastery class that is offered gave me the confidence that I needed to use my beautiful new machine comfortably and confidently. I recently had an issue with my machine on a Sunday afternoon and I emailed Lisa, the shop owner, and she replied to me within the day. Since the shop is closed on Sunday’s I did not expect to get a reply before Tuesday. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a quick response within the same day. When I called the shop, they were happy to assist me over the phone with my issue, now that is amazing customer service! I am looking forward to taking my first official quilting class (I learned from my grandmother) this year and expanding my skills. Once Upon A Quilt will always be my favorite quilt shop."
